Exploring the Why? Question

Often it is easiest to start with your personal preferences:

Do I have a strong feeling of like or dislike for either?

Do I like one because I dislike the other?

Then you could go on to analyse some factual differences:

What are the simple differences?

In appearance?

In feel?

In content?

In association?

And now you could try to explore how you created a difference between choices:

What is the difference in how I created them?

Have I invested more time in one?

Was there a chance event that made me go further in one than in another?

And shift the conversation back to your preference or liking:

Is there an obvious difference I prefer?

What is it doing to me?

What is it making me think about?

What is it making me feel?

What does it remind me of?

And once again back to the facts:

Is there some idea or ‘rule’ that makes me like or dislike one?
