Untitled Heist Idea

If you’ll excuse the hideous pun, this needs some fleshing out.

Basic Premise

We need to get into a place. Could be to steal something, or meet a potential ally/turncoat/etc. They’re in some high class place. I’m kinda thinking Casino Royale style. Security is high, and they don’t allow droids. Supreme Clientelle.

The Disguise

To get KD in, the bois cover him in synthflesh and/or synthskin. This will be messy, and gross, and involve them making some skullduggery rolls. The outcome of which will greatly affect the believability of the disguise.

Throw in a computers check for some movement subroutines, so KD doesn’t move like a droid. A bit of randomisation in his gait, occasional scratching etc. Depending on how well that goes, it could cause some issues later.

We can get around the eyes/voice with some goggles and a mask/rebreather, ala the Kel Dor.

The Rest

KD has been surreptitiously watching some shows, see Shows KD would watch

KD’s role will be as a prince. For extra in joke/4th wall points, he is the prince of Wombatia, a planet in the Da’nundar system. Southern end of the outer rim or something. Their atmosphere is heavy with Tibanna gas, hence the rebreather. This also means he has an excuse to carry a big ol canister of the stuff, which could be used to smuggle in extra equipment, and could explain why it’s setting off weapon scans. Or it could just be a bomb. Wake up, Samurai.

I’m thinking the rest of the crew makes their own way in, for those classic heist movie looks/nods across a space blackjack table. Except no prince travels alone, so someone needs to be with him (as his Viceory) to handle all the deception checks little people, not worthy of direct interaction with the prince.

Apart from whatever the actual mission is, we’ll also be explaining to sympathetic ears how alas, KD’s fortune has been buried inside a pyramid, and we’re collecting investments to hire the mining equipment to regain access to it. 100x return on investment if you get in early. The great Pyramid Scheme, if you will.
