Starting out Green 20260109
We have taken out the prison ship, and left it scuttled on an asteroid on the outskirts of the system.
Zarlo’s sister has been rescued, but Willie is the only member of the crew that knows the deets.
What are we up to next? Dxun? Bottle episode? Something else? Still in space, flying back to whisper base?
No duty triggered
Plan is to drop everyone off at Whisper Base, let the Alliance know where we left the prison ship, and haul off to Dxun.
Willie hears Zarlo’s sister knocking on the door, wanting to come out. Tells her “not without your brother’s say so” - Rimer overhears, but he’s also getting paranoid.
Hand all the prisoners (ours and theirs) over for “processing”
Willie’s calling his black market contacts, checking they’re open for business. Looking up general flight/traffic for the system. So we can see if there’s anything going on around the moon.
Rimer wants to grab some Repulsor Assist Units, some recon remotes to help out on the moon.

Head into town to pick things up.
Iziz is still a bit smoky, but has calmed down, some debris on the runway.
Ship gets refueled
Docking guy warns us to keep an eye out, thugs are about.
Run into one group, but we scare em off.
Sold the disruptor pistol, KD bought a natty coat (and hat)

As a crew we got one of the repulsion bois for Rimer, some # Combat Tested attachments (4, 1 each)

Got some remote observation remote things too, to help scouting.
Head back to base, no further complications.
Get mods installed.
Willie runs through some weapons maintenance checks.
Review of the flight data shows a few stops, which narrows down our search area a bit. Based on Willie’s interpretation anyway. Last scouting mission was ~3 days ago
Not sure if the scouting mission had found something or not though. Why’d they leave so soon? Because they found something but got distracted by us causing trouble, or because they didn’t find anything?
Rimer is doing some research on the moon in general. It’s more overgrown than Onderon.
Could hit up the beast riders for intel, see if they know of anywhere spooky/influenced by the artefact. They say the whole moon is foreboding, but highlight a section that is said to be haunted. Far side of the moon. They could mark it on our map.
They’re gonna meet us the next day.
KD wires the droids into Willie’s helmet, so he can see what they see (one at a time) while he’s wearing his hat. 2 of em can do audio too. A bit jury rigged though.
Anyone else can also view/hear on a data pad.
Beasties point out a canyon/area that is haunted, wildlife is fine, but people see/hear things.
They do not want to challenge KD, our formidable champion. The duel would not be honourable. I’m sure the juggling of multiple heavy things helped.
Willie volunteers to duel instead.
Armour’s off. Willie lands a big haymaker, feigns(?) a hurt hand. Beast rider shakes it off with a grin, moves in and grapples Willie to the floor. He takes a hit to the head on the way down.
“No one wins with a headbutt” so Willie goes for one, but it’s dodged.
Beast rider retaliates with his own headbutt. Square in the nose, there’s a triumph. Willie is out.
KD helps with the parade of victory. Beastrider’s lost a tooth
Rimer’s tending to Willie’s injuries.
Much honour is found.
Bazo? is pleased with us, we have shown them great honour.
Deffo took one for the team.
Beastriders warn us off some of the local fauna.
Aim for the eyes and nose apparently. Soft spots. They can’t climb, so high ground is extra advantageous.
Off to Dxun!
Land in a clearing close to where the imps had landed.
The air is heavy, and humid. Some strain is incurred, KD steps in some puddles.
KD and Rimer have worked out the right direction though, we’re heading East.
There are some young Boma in the distance, they’re not interested in us though. Or they’re running from something else.
They’re definitely running from something, we can hear it coming.
The panic and search for high ground ensues.
KD and Rimer get into some crevices/under foliage. Willie jetpacks up to safety.
If this thing is a Zakkeg, it’s bigger than usual. After the Boma, it hasn’t spotted us, fortunately. These things are like an ankylosaurus but without the clubbed tail. Size of a house

The general consensus is that in the ship we might be able to take one out.
Make it to the canyon, no funny business yet. There are some steps carved into the wall.
Some jungle at the bottom of the canyon, but also very rocky. Can make out the remnants of what looks like a temple to the south
There is some wildlife in the distance. We probably want to avoid that.
No roof on the temple really, just walls.
There’s an entrance, some gaps in the wall, full of an inky darkness.
Plan is to sneak around a bit and use the droids to scout things out.
Scout drone tootles over, we’re not picking up the darkness, some Sith writing on the columns though. Willie’s doing some double takes, he’s seeing the darkness when he looks himself, but not when looking through the remotes.
As the droid approaches the entrance, something breaks out of the ground, and static ensues, no more signal from the droid.
This got a reaction from the wildlife, but they settled down again quick.
We’ve worked out what they are, it was an adult zakkeg we saw before, these ones are immature/juvenile.
We work our way around, the zakkegs are on the prowl but haven’t noticed us.
Our remote has been skewered by a stalactite type thing. It looks natural, but also came out of nowhere.
We get closer, on to another rock pile. Almost like a bad game of the floor is lava.
Can see more of the temple, crumbling rocks etc.
Sense of dread intensifies (for the organics)
Monsters start snapping/banging at the rocks.
Willie drops a nade on em
Remember eyes and noses.
One of em charges at us, Willie gets a shot off and hits it in the leg.
Second one rumbles the rocks we’re stood on
Rimer does some decent damage to that one, crits it and sets it on fire. Like a boss. Burn means it take the weapon’s base damage on its next turn.
Third one runs at us, Willie takes aim at its eyes, but clocks it in the armoured head, ricochets off with no effect.
Burny boy is probably dead, bit twitchy.
KD contemplates jumping down to engage, but decides it’ll probably break his legs, so resists so far.
Rimer takes another shot but misses. Sets fire to the grass between us and them tho.
One of em runs away from the fire
KD climbs down carefully, the other one runs off too.
The rocks collapse, Willie catches Rimer’s collar as they do, and makes a controlled decent.
And we’re all safely on the ground!
There’s some sort of pavilion behind the temple.
Calling it there! There would be room for Zarlo to bring the ship in to the canyon, or hop on a speeder to meet up with us next session if Will is back.
Everyone gets 10XP each
