Cold Climate Shopping

So, we’re heading off to colder climes

The Mission Briefing

Trivar II isn’t quite Hoth-levels of cold, but still pretty inhospitable. KD-40N will be fine, but the squishier members of the party will need some help to not turn into meatsicles.

Alliance command is gonna grant us some supplies, just need to work out what we’ll be asking for.

Heating System

Joey/Willie called out the Heating System to be modded to armour.

Only works on armour that can be sealed though. We could craft some more custom armour for everyone else, and apply this mod.

Speeders

We’ve already got enough, but would probably need to throw some mechanics rolls at them to modify them for the colder climate.

• reinforce the repulsor housings
• Install engine pre-warmers

I think they’re bikes, so getting a sealed cockpit installed is out of scope? Extra need to wrap up warm. Where’s that AT-AT when you need it?

Thermal Cloak

These would do the job for anyone not in sealed armour.

And could be thrown on over the top of whatever is already being worn (encumbrance allowing).

Adverse Environment Gear

More of a replacement for current clothing.

Not as handy in a fight, would potentially involve getting changed/carrying “fighty” clothes around until needed.

Hazardous Industry Suit

Pricier, but with more Soak and an extra hard point compared to the AEG

Could be a better option to basically “live” in for the duration.

Goggles

Something/anything to protect their squishy eyes from the wind.

A Tent

Yea, really

Would let everyone rest up if we’re caught out in the field or need to do some recon away from civilisation.

Although the fancy tent seems better for less money, somehow.

Without a tent, we’re making resilience checks regularly.
